Hello everyone,
As mentioned during the annual meeting, Chemeketa Firewise has received a HUGE grant for fire safety and brush clearing work all throughout the park. Both Fire Safe Council and San Jose Water are funding this work to reduce the risk of a catastrophic fire and to protect the watershed. Work will be completed by Denali Tree Service (a trusted contractor) and is slated to begin in late-August.

What about that empty lot next door? Please give the address of the property and a brief description at the bottom of the form.
What about nature?About 2 weeks before work is slated to begin, a bioengineering company will come through and flag habitats and endangered species. PLEASE do NOT remove the flags, those areas will be protected.
This form is confusing, what if I check the wrong thing? We advise you to permit as much work as possible, you will be able to get into the details on the day of the project.
